After a long search for a low milage 2nd gen TRD OR Tacoma, I found exactly what I wanted from a private party seller. Still under factory warranty, clean carfax, maintenance records, Southwest vehicle without a speck of rust anywhere. Came with a Leer color matched shell, rhino lined bushwhackers, and a brand new set of duratracs. Former owner took good care of it.

Yea I've found it works better than most engine cleaners and it's cheaper.

Coming along nicely. Where did you score all the color matched handles?

Took off the black pieces and my buddy shot them in his paint shop. I think Toyota sells pre-painted color matched handles, but I was already doing the grill so just did all the black handles as well.

Oven cleaner? It don't damage the plastics or rubber?
How long did you leave it on?
    Also, that motor looks awesome.

Just spray on, brush around the really grimey parts and wash off with water. It's not on there for more than 5-10 mins total. Doesn't damage anything but it will leave a crusty white residue if you don't get it all washed off.

Busy day working on the truck today.

AllPro Apex Sliders rhino lined and going on.

    20160512_131808-sliders-going-on.jpg

A motorcycle jack works perfect for positioning the sliders.

    20160512_151143-mounting-sliders-2x4.jpg

Baja Designs Squadron-R's fit perfectly in the Pelfreybilt aluminum front bumper. Also fit a 20" single row lightbar to the center slot. The 20" lightbar required drilling out the mounts to allow the bolts to fit, they were made a little too tight for this lightbar.

    20160512_162400-mounting-sqadrons.jpg

Front bumper, sliders, fogs and lightbar all on:

    20160512_190336-bumper-on.jpg

    20160512_190343-sliders-on.jpg

There was one thing left that bugged me a little about the bumper, the mount points and studs being clearly visible. Taped it off and painted black, here's the before and after:

Nothing as of yet, they're sitting inside the factory front bumper in my garage. I'm keeping all the stock stuff for now, but eventually I may put it up for sale.
