Does anyone have photos showing which wire I need to tap into with a t-tap on the taillights in order to get my xsb2.0 halo switchback (turn signal) feature to functon properly?

@gym_jamz I know we talked about this and that I have to tap into the rear as opposed to the front turn signals, but I don't recall any other instructions.

I am guessing then, the yellow wire is the blinker so I connect the yellow wires I tap into on each tail light to the yellow wire on the XSB led driver? Then what does the green go to/what is it for? I am connecting the constant power and ground (white and black wires on the XSB driver) to my bussman RTMR via the metripack connnector style shown below that is on a relayed circuit that is controlled by a switch inside of my vehicle.

So then, the white and black wires on the XSB driver are accounted for as is the yellow (if that is connected to the tail light yellow wire for the turn signal). So I guess I am curious as to what tapping into the green wire is for.

Well fuck, I guess I could have figured that out if I had walked out to my truck haha. Thank you! I have another picture and question coming up in just a second. I am trying to get this all sorted out in my own head before I begin. Is it a bad idea to install the wiring harness and ballasts first and then begin the teardown and retrofit on the actual head lights? I wanna be sure I have everything wired properly prior to removing headlights.

Ask away, I'm here to help. I would install the harness and leave everything unplugged. It would save you a ton of time!

Next question: Is this how the wiring is supposed to be laid out? I've been trying to base this off of the guides given on the TRS website under each individual product and on this forum, but I can't quite make it out. Unless there is a better DIY guide somewhere that I am missing.

    215d3f79-7146-4a1d-bccc-fdc418bb1117_3632b801db8db581bda3bd0788f88e5a70179659.jpg

    Another angle:

And finally (if how I have it above is correct) what is this for? It was included with in the box but in no other packaging and was just sitting on top of everything. Its a connector with a red wire and black wire, both with male quick disconnects on them.

Yes that is how the relay is wired up. and the connector in the last picture is just for when your building the headlights to connect the ballasts to a 12V source without having to wire up the whole relay harness. At least that is what I use it for.

You have everything right. Remember the trigger for the factory bulb connector is only connected on the drivers side.

That last piece is for you to test everything without the truck, like on a car battery. Basically bypassing the relay and powering the ballast directly.

Thanks gentlemen! To test it, is it as simple as connecting that extra wire to the ballast, plugging the bulbs into the projectors, connecting the ignitors to the ballast, and then connecting the extra wiring harness with the red and black wire to the vehicles battery. And repeat with the second projector, bulb, and ballast?

I apologize for the probably stupid questions!

Do you the projectors installed in your headlights yet? Or are you just wanting to make sure everything works before you start your build?
