Bed extender for me means I can haul even more stuff that you would only wish you could.

If I want to really go anywhere tricky I'll take the quad.... that fits just fine in the back of my longbed....

Bed extender is less than $200. DCLB which hinders off road capability costs you more than double that. I can carry as much for less money and go more places than you. :D

Short beds remind me too much of the Explorer Sport Trac, and no one needs that image...

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that no one has implied that LB owners are trying to make up for certain "short comings".

Again I have to remind you the access and single cabs also have the 6 ft (long) beds. You stubby bed lovers are the oddballs in the Toyota family of trucks.

Sort of like a deficiency in realizing what's really needed in real world activities.

That's ok, some low wattage bulbs are needed too.

Hate to break it to you but the VAST majority of Tacomas produced are not 19 foot long trucks.

What ever you say. I'm sure what ever it is, is normal. Not that there's anything wrong with it.

I have a DCLB on order after test driving the EXACT same configuration.

Still on the edge about it and the length factor but it fits my stuff better. My skis would barely fit diagonally in the SB. And it will fit me sleeping in the bed as well on trips.

Honestly wished that Toyota made a 5.5' bed which would have been perfect for me and my uses.

SB owners wishing one part part on their "truck" was longer

They compensate with strap ons..... but don't keep pointing that out to them.

It may not be very big around, but it sure is short!

Is the DCSB the most popular configuration?
