Okay, so that is ruled out for now then. Try tightening the cab mounts as peviously mentioned. Our trucks make noise like no other.

Rebuild, re arch and added two leafs should be much better now. Last ones got so flat that I would sit about a inch from my super bumps and would bottom out over everything. I'm gunna build a bedcage and run some 16" thro the bed so this is in prep for that

ok, torqued down the cab mounts.. still got the clunking. Sounds like something with steering but idk. inner and outer tie rods are brand new.

Someone might have already covered this by I had a clunking going on in the front turned out to be my lower control was a tad loose so the arm was shifting ever so slightly and making some noise. I torqued it down and no more clunk

Check every single bolt on the suspension. If you can see it, tighten it. I had a clunk in the driver side for a while I couldn't pin point until I did that and it turned out that my lower spindle bolts were like loose by a thread and letting the spindle jump on the LCA enough to feel it.

Get a silver sharpie, and write "race truck parts, race truck noises" on the center of your steering wheel. :).

I feel your pain, Ive been chasing a similar clunk, but it comes and goes.

lmao So I got the day off today and got up as the sun was rising.. torn down front end and retightened everything I could see.. clunk isn't as bad now, but I noticed that it actually appears to be caused by the front coilovers. I am thinking a combination of needing a rebuild and bad spherical bearings are causing it. I guess time to pony up the funds for all corners to get refreshed... did find another unfortunate thing though.. rear pinion seal appears to be throwing oil at highway speeds, no drips just damp flange and oil on the axle tubes from being thrown out.. per the stealership, "we don't replace those seals you will have to pay for a new third member" oooh, so I have trd locker.. stealership "that will cost even more." oh thank you for your words of encouragement

Says: eventually it will get bad enough you can isolate it. Or something will fall off :)
