Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
    Agreed haha.

Ther trucks go down the line mixed. You can change an allocation from auto to manual up to 10 days before your build date. I did this with Mine and just picked it up yesterday. For the record I could not find a manual sport in the state of Ohio to test either.

Just picked My new Sport up last night. It's my first ever 6 speed (used to 5's)and I'm still getting used to the closeness of reverse and first and the low gearing on first. How long does it take to become second nature? Also wondering why 5th and 6th are so far to the right. seems like the first 4 gears are super close together and then the last two are way off in the cornfield.

This is my first 6 also (after three 5s and a 4). I have 9000 miles and I still dislike the placement of reverse.

    Hey Hookem ,

Nice to see I'm not the only one hanging out in multiple threads. Only had mine for a few hours and I'm still sorting out the new shift pattern. Not digging 1st gear but then again with the old 4cyl it was a must use gear to get it moving. I'm sure after I spend some time on hills it will all sort it's self out.

I was a bit insulted when the kid at the dealership told me "don't worry about reverse the screen lights up to tell you ,you put it in reverse". I told him the growling noise pretty much does the same thing. ROFL

That's pretty terrible. Why the weird ring and padding at the top?

No clue. If anything it would be better backwards toward the palm of your hand

Haha my bad. Didn't actually look too hard. Usually 6 speeds need a lockout like that.
On my 97 tdi Jetta you push down on the shifter and all the way left and up. Funny when people try to drive it and can't find reverse lol.

What's with all these clean trucks. I bought a dirt colored one so it can get dirtier. Also the quicksand color does a great job at hiding the Nevada Pinstripes but the black fender flares do not.20160513_151557.jpg20160513_151650.jpg

I feel much less bad about my PNW forest pin striping. Some deep stuff but nothing compared to what you have, except that MGM shows it like crazy...
