I use it. But not facing forward. My wife flips the **** out when I ascend or descend steep hills or go through mud. So I record her reactions. It's hilarious.

 

Debadged this afternoon. Best 20 minutes ever spent! No photos as she's a filthy mess, and I'll take her to the salon later.

Yeah, I went with the Extang 2.0 for that reason.

 

I have a Radar Detector / Dash Cam I want to mount in that location but it doesn't use the gopro mount. looks like I will have to adapt a gopro over to it.

 

You can buy those GoPro clips super cheap. With a little JB Weld you can have a pretty solid mount.

 

Mine was 1/2 quart low. The dealership thanked me for letting them know there were issues being expressed on TW! I only had 400 miles on truck! Gives peace of mind knowing it's correct!

I ordered an UnderCover SE coming next week ... it's a one piece, overlapping cover to get as waterproof as possible ... However, I will have to remove it when loading tall things. (PITA as takes 2 people to remove mine and find a place to store it too ).

I like yours better for that reason of different height loads. My buddy has same cover you have and he loves his. He gets small leaks but nothing big. Good way that they relocated the tie down rails too.

Hi, I'm new to toyotas and just got on here yesterday. I live on Vancouver island, any idea where I can get some good aftermarket mods, skid plates, bumper guards etc? All I've done so far is buy a canopy. Very happy with it so far.

 

Dealer has to do it. Had them do mine first week I had the truck

 

Take it to the dealership they will normally do it for free

Got the Redline Tuning hood struts installed today. Loving my truck so far! 6920 miles on the odo.

 

take it to the dealer it takes them 5 mins to do and u can usually talk them into doing it for free

Put on my 3 inch wheel to wheel steps. And clear directional lights.

 

how far out do the main tubes come out from the body of the truck? will they protect from door dings or just the actual step part?
