I am not in the market for a rear right now, but might be when you get around to a 3rd.

My 3rd Gen didn't come with a factory hitch. I put a Draw-Tite on it, tucks up a little higher than the OEM.

My high is crap, keeps freaking rusting. I painted over it and rusting again.

Since you punks keep pressuring me I spent the afternoon designing a front bumper for my 3rd gen. Hope finish it up over the next few days. Starting to pull the bad motor tomorrow too

A strong way to attach these will be tricky. I see how most are doing it. It is "okay" but IMO not the best for winch pulls. I need to Mobtown Engineer this beast.

I took the front end apart and got all my critical dimensions. Going to do a plate bumper, not hybrid or tube for now.

A lot of people do the end plate mod to winch. After the front you need to do a rear bumper ;)

I coated my whole underbelly and hitch with Fluid Film before this past salt season. Seemed to have preserved things nicely.

Ouch that looks like it hurt. I think I would hit my hitch before the bumper

Hit it with a wire brush, then paint it with POR15. That stuff is awesome. You can get a 4oz can on Amazon or eBay for 10 bucks. Just wear gloves, I found out the hard way that it stains your skin.

I bought a grinder so if you bring a wheel you can take all the rust and paint right off!
    We believe in you.

From what angle did it come out? When I unbolted my starter to do my clutch a few weeks ago I just laid it on the crossmember. Just curious which way it comes out incase I ever need to replace it.

I'm at about $700 for UCA and weld on spindle gussets. Debating on it because I have no other way to get weld on spindle gussets done. Opinions?
