I don't have either strip added, not on header rail & not on tailgate. I've driven thru rain so heavy it was like driving thru carwash or waterfall at low speed and near frwy speed. Have had very little barely noticeable water get in bed. The bed mat wasn't even wet. There is at least 1/8th gap on header rail and maybe 1/16th on tailgate. I'm not even concerned with using the strips that came with. Used part of one for something else not even truck related. I still pack for trips like open bed tho with some stuff wrapped in yard bags.

The extang cover comes with two foam pieces that fill those gaps.

    You could do the same.

I got my Revolver x2 installed about a week ago. Getting water in on both front corners and on each side about half way back just over the fender well. How is yours doing keeping the water out?

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Installed a Bakflip Fibermax. So far I love it but it came slightly damage on one of the underneath panels. Not sure if I will go through the hassle of sending it back or just put some JB weld on it and call it a day? image.jpg

I think they can send you a panel via warranty, so you don't have to ship back. I would definitely call them and give them a heads up. Maybe you can even get a few bucks back for the trouble.

Just bought a Pace Edwards Switchblade for my 2015 TRD Sprot. Got it for under $800...I was wondering if anyone else had this, and if you have to take the cargo bars out or not?

Just my 2c. I bought a Solid fold 2.0 for my long bed '16 about 5 months ago. It rains a lot here in Oregon, some decent winds, and it's held up extremely well. A few drips of water here and there, but that's to be expected, this doesn't have like a 2m waterproof rating ;) It really is just a few drips. Many trips to costco, my tools back there, etc, and especially with the full rubber mat I have back there, there's no possibility anything is going to get wet. I am very glad I got it, it was a big out of pocket expense so soon after buying my truck for me, but I would do it 10 out of 10 times in hindsight.

The most important thing is adjustment. Not cranking the thing down and introducing too much bending. It took me a couple tries to figure out the right clamping pressure and to seat the thing closer to the cab than the tailgate, but once I did, all is well. Highly suggest the 2.0. I also like that it sits a little higher, doesn't impede any of my in bed needs and it's more than strong enough for me to tools on top of when working on a job site.

A coworker of mine has a Tundra crewmax. He bought a Backflip HD. The black panels were showing lots of white underneath. So he contacted Backflip and the sent him a replacement in the mail. No charge. Contact bakflip!

Just purchased the Leer Trilogy, like the looks waiting to see how water tight it is. Can see a little light coming through near the cab. Will buy some weather stripping to seal it.

Yeah I kind of figured that it was through local dealers only. Guess I could take a drive and look at a couple truck supply stores.

Anyone have any experience with the Trident FastFold being sold by autoaccessoriesgarage? I'm thinking of going the cheap route until i figure out which trade-offs I can/not live with/out.
