Looking for advice on my 2002 Tacoma. Hard slamming over pot hiles

    easiest thing would be to weld on 5" of capped tubing to where the bumps originally hit. Heck if you were anywhere close by id do it for you myself.

    I have talked to to them on the phone and they have told me that I'm the first person to ever have a problem like this out of thousands sold. My front struts only have like 4 inches of rod showing. How can I till if my cool springs are giving to much to cause the strut to bottom out?

    And i cant believe tuff country is selling this kit without anyway to relocate the bump stops. Thats unacceptable and a design flaw if you ask me.

    That looks really bad to me. I only have a couple thousand miles on the struts

    I went to a gravel are where there is dried up holes so big bumps and dips. I stopped and then hit them maybe around 5 mile per hour.

    Yeah thats ridiculous of them!!


    OP i still think you outta weld some extended stops from where the bumps used to hit. You really need something there to stop that over travel!

    So why isn't any other tacomas on here having the same problem. And if bump stops are made. What's going to stop them from hitting all the time when I off road? My old struts that where warn out didn't even bottom out.....
