Unfortunately not. My hunting buddy lost the transmission in his truck last Friday so he was stuck down in NH all weekend. We're going to try and go out next weekend instead. Neither one of us can use a mouth call worth a damn, so one of us runs the squawk box while the other one shoots, lol.

It pairs really well with a burger or a BLT. I had one with a BLT on sourdough last night and it was awesome.

BLT's are so underrated. I haven't had one in a while, gonna need to change that

I do like ciders, not a fan of hard lemonades, they give me a headache. For beer, I'm a fan of wheat beer and white ales. I don't like the thick beers, especially when it's hot outside.

That's fair. If it's hot out I'll switch to a nice IPA or a Boston Lager. Or a Mint Julep or G&T, lol.

I had a week of last year's vacation I had to burn up by last week. Of course that was the week of crappy weather. Went out every day and nothing.Heard a few on the roost in the dark but nothing was moving.
My BIL went to my spot on Tuesday and got one in 20 mins. Oh well.

Gonna hit it early tomorrow. Get up at 3,drive 40 mins., and in the woods by 4:30.

For me nothing beats an ice cold Bud Light on a hot day, but there's a great many micro-brews out there that have great selections. Not a micro-brew but a great lager I've stumbled upon is Kona Longboard lager, very tasty!

This time of year that's how you've got to do it sometimes. They're on such high alert it can be tough to get into position without spooking them if you're working a smaller piece.

I'd drink a Bud Light on a hot day. If the alternative was Busch. Or a glass full of sand.

Bush tastes like overly carbonated soda water. After 20 years of drinking BL's for rehydration after old man hockey games you kinda get used to it.

You guys discriminate against to many beers. I will drink virtually everything, I prefer ipa's. For summer my favorite is magic hat #9. I think that's because i used to always get some before going to sandy neck and now it stuck.

I had a stone chocolate milk stout the other day:thumbsup:

I really don't but there is something about Bud and I taste it in Bud light too. It's the one beer I just don't like

Outside of Boston, Ma. I tried some while picking up some beer at my local packy. Some guy was there doing a promo of the brand. Walked away it a 12 pack, a cool pint glass and a key chain. :D

That's the most popular brew. My personal favorite from Kona Brewing Co is Wialua Wheat. But they have a pub on our island that has all their beers on tap plus the specials season ones. But it's great to see them out there. Enjoy!

That idea would go over like a fart in church. The do-gooders would come running with pitchforks. Taunton and Springfield are pretty rough and tumble towns, much easier to get through the planning boards there than in a place like Downtown Boston.

I hear ya, and that's exactly why they shouldn't go there to begin with. The responsible places know better than to allow them.

I may or may not be heading up to Cumberland RI tomorrow after all...

Wife was home throwing up all day on her last day home from work for maternity leave. Thinks she may have a stomach bug.

Kiddo's daycare, in his room, had 3 kids sent home today with possible stomach bugs, plus one with a fever of 103.

Tonight may or may not be the night from hell. Or tomorrow the day from hell for that matter. Guess only time will tell.
