3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
Think leafs will do just fine

Well my current suspension needs to be replaced. Shocks are bad, bushings are done, shackles are surfaced rusted like crazy, hangars are meh lol. I don't know what's so bad about leafs, but I've seen some gnarly RUF amd chevy 63 setups, if it came like that factory, I don't think there'd be an issue lol. I want something I can use that's effective and cheap while I can work on getting the setup I want together. Because like I said, it's gonna be awhile, like...years lol, before the truck will be where I want it.

I'm saying if you're going to spend that much, you could build what you want...

but i found these on Pirate . look like they'd work for the rear with leafs. then again, i don't really know much LOL

could someone could build you a kit, isn't it mostly dom tubing?

if you build your own it wouldn't cost nearly as much, but if the chevy stuff is easier, works, and is that much cheaper I'm all for it .

    I have a few mods
    - Chevy 63s - $50
    - Chevy 63 conversion kit - $220
    - RUF (Rear up fronts) - $70ish (depending on the price of the 2 sets of leafs and if I use my current rears)
    - Bilstein 5125 14" shocks - $79 each
    - Histeer (which is the most expensive piece and is required with lifting, so links would need it anyways) - $400
    - shock hoops - $60 per set, need 2
    - lower shock mounts - $20~

----- ~$1300 rounded up with some extra things

I think that's majority of it, probably another $100 in other parts im not thinking of right now

I dont know honestly, I think it is. not too sure how much less it would be because those kits come with everything

thats pretty cheap i guess, well with trail gear I'm sure you're not only paying for the steel, you're paying for the fabrication, and the name.

that is true lol, but my welding skills are not up to par for welding things like that just yet. I welded my exhaust up and it was extremely mediocre at best lol. Id feel more comfortable buying something already fab'd and not have to worry about it. BUT there isn't anything wrong with seeing how much it would be to source parts out and put a kit together. it's just convenient to have a kit you can just click add to cart and it shows up at your door haha
