This was my experience too though, thankfully, I didn't have to adjust anything. I just got my Morimoto LED Fog Light assemblies yesterday so I will try to install those tomorrow. Overall I am very happy with my HIDs.

Could just be my location... Dark Alaskan roads, people not knowing what an HID is... I just want to check everything out a second time, it was hot yesterday (81, record high), a fresh pair of eyes with 60-degree weather will do me good!

@Invid let me know how your LED install goes!

Will do! These are quality and stout units and I wanted something more than just fog light bulbs. I'll post pics.

Morimoto's fogs are hands down one of the best for plug and play.

Just swapped over the new o ring gourmet they sent. It's slightly taller than the original and oem Toyota. Little bit stiffer and it help reduce the bounce, I guess that's as good as it gets with the bounce issue.

Is it because the cutoff is sharper and it magnifies it? I know with a projector cutoff, it seems to bounce but that's because it's so sharp that you can clearly see the cutoff. Where as oem bulbs fades out and you don't notice it? I don't know lol just trying to figure this out too

Yea I don't know either, just know that it bounces on bumpy roads but it's reduced from before with the new o rings. I'm tired of dealing with it.just gotta deal with it

It is well below the cut off. Its hard to explain without actually seeing it in person. It is almost like a light bouncing within the headlights. Lets say you have a pair of nice headlights and then you have a piss poor mounted hella fog light on your bumper. Then every time you hit bump the headlights (aka cutoff) stays steady and that hella fog light bounces around inside the headlight pattern. Its enough to drive some of us insane. The cutoff I fully expect to bounce as the truck bounces. This is completely different. I am not sure how else to describe it.

There is a couple on youtube. One of them you cant tell all you see is the cutoff bouncing. The other is clear enough that you can tell. If I remember tonight I will post the link.

For those with their shaky bulbs, can you take a picture of the back?

I'm wondering if the "shaking" is less noticeable with the 35W option vs the 50W. Less bright=less noticeable maybe?

Probably a long shot but i read somewhere somebody tested the shaking with lower lumen lighting and barely noticed it.

    Could be completely wrong here...

I installed both sides today and it was a piece of cake. I am very impressed with the quality and light output. I may create a simple tutorial if anyone is interested. If I take the truck out tonight I'll post pics too.

You can see the new fog light on the driver's side.
