Good 3 or 4 inch lifts?

Or 5100's in the front with a possible AAL. What direction would you go?

 

Not the bottom one. Spacer lifts are bad.

You are not spending a whole bunch on rear 5100s. Its best to just get them. Easy to install too. The top lift is great but You need 5100s or OME front shocks to go with it I believe.

If you dont want to spend a lot go 5100s up front and thats all.

 

I guess thats the way i was leaning. 5100's at 2.5 would level me, is that correct? In addition AAL would give me basically my stock lean back, but raised 2.5 inches???

 

Correct. 2.5 with no aal may leave the front a tad high. If I was going your route I would do 2.5 and a 1" aal. 1.5" tops. Just my 2 cents.

Does this mean that i need the rear TSB done to get about the 1 1/2 rear lift to level out the truck with 5100's at 2.5?

 

No. That just means it's normally used with the tsb lags since those give you a slight lift. Only difference in the aal's is the lift they give. Run whichever you want.

You will get about whatever lift the aal says. The reason they have different lift sizes is because after you get the front lift done then you need an aal to lift the back up. If you have the non tsb springs they say get this one and if you have the tsb ones they say get this one. Thats because the tsb leafs sit a little higher due to having 4 leafs instead of 3.

All this aside. Figure out how much lift you want and get the aal that gives it.

If I add this 3" toytec lift is there a disadvantage of keeping my stock shocks? After all my reading I know I need to purchase a LR UCA to level out the lift, but would this combo be enough for 285/75/17s?

 

There is no advantage to using the stock shocks except for money reasons. Otherwise, the stock shock should work.

The tires will fit regardless of your shocks. The shocks don't lift, just the AAL does.
