About to cycle my rear. Do I tack on my lower shock tabs on thevaxle at ride height where I think they should be to clear the frame? Also, when I make the arcs for my top shock mount position, during droop, do I droop with the leafs all out too? It seems to even droop more with them all out. Thx.

Didn't leave 4 Low all day and was on the front and rear lockers a lot; so it's not very long travel-ish, but I did use the travel flexing the truck out.

    Question on coil springs...

I know they wear out. They're like any moving part. As they wear out, they sag. As they sag, we continue to put more preload on them to maintain ride height. They then start riding like a dump truck...

The weakening of the spring and subsequent sagging does not offset the additional preload, right? Meaning that to maintain the same ride height on a worn out spring, you have to run more preload and thus ride stiffer than you would on a new set of springs?

    Am I correct?

It's a good thing my cycling of the suspension gave me a spot to be able to mount the shocks to the cage. Is it good that the shock is pretty much straight up and down, it slightly leans forward? Or do they all come out like this?

The more you angle the shocks the more inefficient at dampening them become. But running them angled is pretty common.

Finally got a picture of her on 35"s. Now I need to get another alignment, cut/plate the firewall, get two 35" spare tires, and put a set of Bilstien 5100 boots over the steering at the rack.

Any issues with running bumps (king) right inside the frame rails?

Nope. Solo Motorsports chose to set it up that way rather than bumping off the spindle.

After I beef up the engine cage, I might relocate the bumps to strike on the top of the spindle but clearance will be really tight to keep the bumps from going through the hood.

Rear glass question. I want to throw some bedliner on the front part of my bedsides, should I just tape it off and spray, or tape it off and rough up the clearcoat a little bit?

Nope. I've got plans the next few weeks anyway. At least that will give me time to get these issues sorted out.

    How is your cage coming?

Leaning it forward is perfectly fine. I set mine up at 10 degrees forward at bump, and its perfect. I would say no more than 15 degrees. For mine I just set my leafs at bump and leaned the shock forward 10 degrees and drooped it out it cycled well.
