Shock hoops welded, need to gusset them. Stripped a power steering part so I'll have to get a new one, hopefully that'll be cheap.

Never gonna finish this trash pile...

Any hints on how to get the transfer case front shaft out to replace a leaking seal? Ain't having any luck yet.

    Some pics of work tonight.

It's horribly swuating right now but these 63's should give me some decent lift.

Is it just the front output shaft that's leaking (where the front driveshaft connects)? All you have to do is remove the nut and flange from the shaft and pull the old seal and install the new one. No need to pull any shafts.

Yeah, I didn't word that all that well... Removing the nut was my problem. I tried using a breaker bar in between the studs to lock the shaft so I could turn the nut AFTER I tried using a breaker bar in 4lo and almost ran the truck over myself. Soaked the whole thing in PB Blaster and tried the impact on day 2 and it came right off on the second try. All replaced and good to go now.

Unfortunately, I'm making slow progress it seems.
Last night I cleaned up the Chevy 63's and painted them. Tonight I am hoping to tack the spring hangers in and check for lift, shackle angle and the lot. Getting the old Chevy bushing out of the spring eyes was a chore, once I found the perfectly sized drill bit those came right out though.

And Tapatalk doesn't seem to be working for me... Not sure why?

Well that works for me, hope the app comes soon. Otherwise I'm stuck to checking once or twice a day.

Tiny spare will probably never see the underside of the truck again.

Did this for the rear shackle hangers. I will clean it up tomorrow and *MAYBE* even tack the rear suspension in.

Toughing it out while grinding leads to arms burning now... Bad idea. Wear long sleeve at least!

And this is so whack, saw right after lunch.

Boring update, the front suspension is done, rear springs are done (need paint), gotta fill the T-Case with oil, then remove stock transmission T-Case and replace with Trail Gear one so I can install my front driveline. Then throw some bump stops in. Then I can wheel her!

This weekend I (with Ray's help) couldprobably get most of that done but its our 1 year anniversary! So... gotta do something with the wife.
