"an inch away from opium" is the funniest thing i've heard all day.

Yes, the weed grown today is much stronger that it used to be so there your are correct. But what are the downsides of this?

Stronger weed just means a more efficient way of smoking.

Stronger weed = having to smoke less = healthier smoker :D

Weed has been proven time and time again that it is in no way toxic yet many of the incorrect notions of yesteryear still haunt us.

Some need to have a little read:

Marijuana has opened my eyes to the injustices in the world. It made me wonder what else is ass backwards in life, and there are soo many things.

It's illegal yet its something that could grow in the wild and left unattended it can be harvested and consumed without any processing just like tomatoes, lettuce, etc.

You got doctors prescribing painkillers, and millions of americans are addicted, and people are dying in the masses from overdoses. The American medical society is now saying we need to take a closer look because it is a usefull medicine, the government provides it to a select few patients and has been for 20 plus years. I say give the sick whatever they want to make them happy.

People thought I was crazy when 7 years ago I was telling everyone it was just a matter of time. Now it's happening and there is no stopping it!

    Legalize it!

Weed does not kill brain cells, it in no way makes you dumb. If your a lazy person and you smoke weed guess what? Your gonna be lazy. A person is how they are.

What weed can do is repair damaged cells, or cleanse them from the body. Check out the people who have cured cancer with hemp oil, the seeds have the highest concentration of omega fatty acids, which are essential to the healthy function of a human body.

I do belive you should not smoke until your brain is fully developed but the plant was put on earth for a reason, and for all we know maybe we are all supposed to consume marijuana. We were all born with cannabinoid receptors in our brain...........they are there for a reason.

I can make hundreds of more claims about cannabis and
I can find the proof to back it up incase anyones interested.

i smoke regularly. and it does have its pros and cons. its fun as hell and can change ur perspective on life. and make u just see things a different way. always down for good laugh. its only bad because it makes u lazy and tired(plus lungs) i smoke alot but i still get really good grades in college and go to the gym daily. so it depends on the person. a normal person who uses it responsibly should not be shunned for smoking. its like comparing a drinker and an alcoholic binge drinker.

theres different levels of smoking too. and on top of that the only way ur going to get brain damage from smoking is if u smoke like 5 grams every day. im all in for legalization. weed snickerbars are delicious

I would say the US needs more pot heads, to start thinking outside of the box you guys are trapped under.

I would also say your getting more stupid each day, from a horrible, failing education system, along with the were number one, go america, shoot shit and go to war mentality. But really, you guys have so many major issues on your hands, who has time to listen to hippies, right?

Anyway, like i said before, cronic is illegal EVERY where in the world, and the US will NOT be the first place to start selling legal, taxable weed to the masses.

Just my Canadian $.02 (0.019 USD, damn our colored money is strong these days)

your $.02 is noted.....care to elaborate on the 'box' we're trapped under that would be lifted if a hippy opinion was considered?

Na, not really. I knew what i said would not go over well, and while i didn't mean to offend anyone, ill take it down if needed, i do apologize.

However, It was more towards the his notion that all stoners are stupid, and that any liberal approach of such would result in a collapse in formal laws as we know it.

I have never smoked it and will NEVER smoke it. I think it's extremely stupid to smoke such a thing because of the effects on the body. The stuff should stay illegal. Just because it could raise some tax money doesn't make it right nor does it make society better in general. Just my opinion, and I know I'm gonna get flak for this.
