    Less likely if you regularly service them. There are tons of threads on SPC/Light Racing ball joint's rampant failures. And yes I am aware there were "redesigned" ones. Besides, you get better alignment numbers, which can translate to better control/driveability. Seems like a lot to roll the dice on. But to each their own.

    SPC light racing UCA's are all about adjustability... LR UCA's have more adjustments to get your alignment numbers where you want them. So how do uniballs give you better alignment numbers?

    SPC ball joint UCA's are lower maintenance, probably quieter, and more adjustable. Yes, the ball joints may eventually wear out but they're not that expensive to replace.

    Uniball UCA's are stronger and will undoubtedly last longer, but also require more maintenance and some of them are prone to annoying noises/squeaks.

    These are just differences in UCA type, none of this has anything to do with why this setup specifically (BP-51) would work better with uniball UCA's as compared to ball joint UCA's.

    They're coilovers, you just crank down the driver side a little more to take care of the lean. No top plate spacer or trim packer needed.
