When in doubt, make it stout?

Don't think twice, it holds more ice!

    Two questions.

    1) Any cot recommendations?

    2) Those of you running the Rubbermaid action packers, what size are you running? The 35gallons are always out. The 48 seems huge. The 24 seems a bit small. Anyone running the 24gallon?

Any GPS recommendations? I need one that will accept GPX files. Thanks

I'm a fan of Garmin handhelds. What's the purpose?

I'm trying to get a trip together for me and me best friend to the Trans-Wisconsin Trail. I have a Gpx file telling me where the trail starts and ends but would need a GPS unit to Read the file. It would be my first trip in the Taco & my first off road wheeling

There are phone apps that can use those files.

iHike GPS will and I bet Gaia GPS will (people like Gaia better but I haven't purchased).

Here's iHike. The UI is kinda clunky but it works.

It is more of a hiking app though.

Thanks I used Map Pro and it worked out great. It's not really an off-road trip more of a overland

Glad I found this thread. Having a degree in outdoor recreation and section hiking the Appalachian Trail doesn't mix well with currently working for backcountry.com :/ needless to say I found something new daily that I want to use my discount on haha.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
No experience with the RTIC coolers, but I have a 30oz tumbler from them & once it's cold it's holds ice great. Just made a cup full last 42 hours inside the cup (ambient air temp around 75*). Was impressed!

Hit me up to remind me before you get here! Let's at least have a beer!

I'll be in the valley tomorrow. You may be in a real good spot for views. I'll send some real pics.

I have a hammock underquilt I'm thinking of selling (because I want a new one!). Anyone here interested in it? Specs/info in link. It's this exact model, but an older color (kelly green and black.). Excellent condition. No rips, tears, stains. Stored indoors, non smoking home.
    I'm thinking $125 shipped CONUS?

Just a bunch of old crap
My absolute favorite is Backcountry Navigator. Put your phone in airplane mode, and use GPS all day long without hogging battery life. Imports and exports all sorts of GPS files and has a great interface, free downloadable offline maps, etc. I ditched my Delorme and my Garmin and just use my phone now.
