I went to tire shop to mount new Trd pro wheels and Ko2 265/70/17 few days ago and I notice my truck pulls little to right on a straight road. My steering wheel is less then a degree to the left. I don't feel any vibration and my truck is stock suspension. Is it due to off-road tire tread?

I just had new TRD Off Road wheels and Goodyear Wranglers put on mine and the dealer automatically did an alinement. I don't know if it's due to the different tire size or what.

I have ran 2 sets of KO2s now and I've not experienced radial pull at all from this tread design. I'd make sure to assess this on several roads to make sure it's not the crown you're experiencing.

Changing wheels and tires does not affect your alignment.

Does this mean it's still good? No.
Sometimes a nice pot hole cant f*ck the alignment.

Like mello03 said, do a few test and then if you feel something is wrong, get it in the shop and have the alignement checked. It's a 70$ that can save you tires!!

Wider, gripper tires have more scrub/friction; this affects toe.
Wheel spacers and high offset wheels have the same affect.
Another possibility is it screwed the vsc calibration and the brakes are pulling on it

An alignement is made on a motionless vehicle....it does not matter what kind of tire you have.

    Looking at 2017 Taco!
none so far....need to get one first!
If you got an alignment, the shop should have given you a report detailing the before and after values. I did a few alignments in HS in the early 90's and that machine printed up the values....of course it was a dot-matrix printer but values none the less! And agree with dantrd05....motionless and only dealing with suspension. I'd be more inclined to do an alignment after suspension work or lifts.

Say you have a wheel and tire that sticks out 2" passed stock without changing offset. You have added 2" of positive tire scrub. If one were to set toe at zero like I see recommended around here, you'll be rolling with toe out, wandering all over the place.

    False.

Parallel is parallel. No matter how wide or how far appart the tires are. Once the alignment is done (no matter which tire), the wheels and tires are PARALLEL. If your vehicle has a toe in...the alignement was simply not done correctly or nothing was torqued and the alignement went off.

Tire scrub has nothing to do with the alignment.

Why do our trucks spec toe in?
Conversely, why do fwd spec toe out?

We are talking about something else now...

The point was to fact that the tire brand/size/width does not affect the alignement. You could theoretically align a vehicle with no tires and only rims on it......

Right now my tire pressure is at 38 PSI, factory setting is at 30 PSI on the door. Would this make a difference?

It would make a difference if they both had differente tire pressure. If they are the same then no, while driving, you'd see no difference.

    38 is high though....
I run mine at 32. Depends on what kind of roads you use I guess...

I'm going to drop to 30 PSI and rotate from front to rear and see what happens. Right now i can see that middle of the tread is curved out due to high pressure.

Some tires have a pull. They shouldn't. It's a manufacturing defect. Take them back to the shop and have them rotate them. If the pull goes away, one of the tires is bad. Tire induced pull can be very fatiguing to drive on long trips.

Tires that are unevenly used can also tend to give a sensation of pulling to one side. Check pressure, rotate them and check how it handles.
It may be possible that due to pressure that is too high...they prematurely used

Ooooh. I just noticed you "went to the tire shop to have them mounted." That presumably means you bought them somewhere else....

Yea i ordered mine from 4wheelparts online, they are brand new and had it mounted at local shop.
I'm lifting the truck next week and need to get an alignment after anyway.

Okay I lowered to tire pressure to 30 cold 32 when warm and it got much better still not perfect but it about 99.5% straight. Maybe I'm an OCD on it.

    I totally get that!

I've been obsessing with the vibration issue that a lot of people seem to have. I don't have it, but I can't stop thinking about it when I drive! LOL
