How do you like that coleman stove? I just picked one up for $10 at a yard sale a few weeks ago and have yet to use it. It came with the propane adapter so I'll probably end up using that instead of white gas or whatever else you can put in there.

If it is one of the older ones they are amazing! however the new ones have a shitty regulator and your choices of heat are full blast or 80%

    Hey guys and gals,
I'm looking for recommendations on a good 4x4 shop/garage/independent mechanic for a lift install. Looking to get some coils up front, billstein 5100s all around and an add-a-leaf in the back, staying with stock UCAs (hopefully).

Also looking for suggestions as whether or not to buy all the parts and go to the shop for install, or is it cheaper to have the shop order the parts and install?

They also have a vendor list of who can do the installs you need. Who is closest to you.

Love it. Actually found it a few years back partially buried in the dirt, missing the fuel cap but otherwise intact. Cleaned it up, had a little surface rust on top, picked up a fuel cap at JAX, rinsed the tank, and been using it ever since. It's an older one. The newer ones are of a thinner gauge and more of a bumpy tactile surface to help with the cheesy thin gauge.

My brother is a fan of the propane conversions. Nothing wrong with either, heats the same. Propane is actually more economical as there is no pumping, spilled fuel, or warm up time waiting for the flame to come down.
But for me, all my stuff runs on white gas or unleaded.

Speaking of camping. I finally got this and now need to start stocking up on camping gear. What things can you not live without while camping?

I always like to have my wool blanket, it's nice and thick, can use it as a pillow. Or if everything gets wet, it still keeps you warm.

Do you use a sleeping bag at all in the summer, or just that?

Sometimes I do, I usually have a backpacking sleeping bag I use year round. It's rated at -20 but it's light weight and I can use it as a blanket when it's hot
