My 285/75/16 KO2's were pretty damn close, but i didn't go with spindles. If the spindles push the wheel out at all you should be fine. I was all stock, so went with 1.25" spacers to push em out.

    Pass the popcorn!
No build thread. I just used 4WD's directions on leafpack refurbishing and built my own. I wanted to be able to hold more weight without the rear sagging. By adding 3 Chevy leafs and removing my overload leaf I achieved a smooth ride, eliminated axle wrap, and increased my weight capacity before sagging. I need to build better brackets to keep the leafs aligned, but it all worked out pretty well. I bought a used set of Chevy leafs off Craigslist for $75 and got to work. I don't wheel my truck often anymore but these do flex pretty good.

Spent a day with Doug helping break a pack down, its so easy the next time I tried it myself on my new truck I was super surprised how quickly and easily I was able to do it with basic tools. And that was just adding in an AAL. @4WD is the leaf guru!

It's just pretty much taking out the overload and slapping the 3 leaf AAL to it right? Not replacing the entire leaf set?

Anyway, finally washed her. My wheels were the #1 thing I didn't like when buying my truck. I don't like black wheels. I Almost traded for OR wheels. After new tires, I'm glad I didn't. 0515161903.jpg

Depends how much lift you want. I did that first, got a lift up front and realized I was short about an inch in the back and had to reinstall the overload

    Its stupid easy...

    Clamp leaf pack together
    Jack up truck
Jack up axle to nuetral (no load on leafs)
    Unbolt Ubolts
    Remove centering bolt
    Install AAL
    Install Centering bolt
    Unclamp leafs
    Bolt up Ubolts
    Unjack axle
    Unjack truck

    Profit.

I kept my overload. The back sits like an inch higher than the front with 5100s set to max lift. Otherwise it'd probably be .5 inch lower in the back than the front. I'd rather have rake than bro lean
