    The one on the right is black plasti dip with no gloss, but the Toyota emblem is spray painted gloss black. The one on the right is black plasti dip with glossifier.

    I dropped mine off at the dealership for the day for round 3 of chasing issues they can't seem to resolve , just got the phone call that they will need it for at least another full day possibly two .
    Hopefully they fix it this round

    So I just got back from a road trip with some buddies to find that my truck is making a knocking sound when the engine is running. Definitely not the self-cleaning ticking, much louder. My tech originally told me it sounded like engine knock but after he opened a case with Toyota it seems like and issue with a vacuum pump or something. Toyota is aware that there is an issue but there is currently no fix for it.

    Just curious if anyone else has had a similar issue? The only thread I found about it seems to have devolved into tyranny (read "trolling and bickering")
