    im pretty sure base models dont have it, because i used to have an 09 reg cab base 4x4 and that truck didnt have it but my 07 sr5 has it

    The engine immobilizer system came as standard equipment on my 2007 Offroad.

    My 08 SR5 2.7 4x4 does not have it. If you have the system, the keys have a transponder in them that are programmed to the truck. It's a simple, effective anti-theft device. I wish my truck had it.
