There's a lot of folks that have done several of these. I'm one of them. If you can't find a closer solution, shoot me a PM. I have an air compressor, tools and jacks. There's an autozone, Napa and an advance all right down the street from me. You will have to deal with bird crap. They love the oak that shades my driveway.

Mondays work best for me, but I could carve out some weekend time if needed. What did you do for the rear?

Monday next would be cool... I'm putting 1.5 weaver 3 pack in the rear.. Probably will crank the 5100s to 2.5 in the front...

Also known as "Failed On Arrival", junk compared to the Big 3. Manufacturing and QA is not up the the others standards.

Also, not going to fit your rig, look at the top end and compare to what you have.

Those are mine. Lots of bad rap, some of it earned but not all of it :notsure: Ran just fine on my truck but a little too stiff for an empty bed (perfect when the bed was weighed down). They've been sitting unused for a long time and are both leaking so need to be rebuilt. I would run them for $100. Many times better than Bilstein and very easy to rebuild :notsure:

I feel like a dick saying this, but are you referring to the truck with the never ending turbo saga that hasn't driven more then 5k miles in the past two years.... Or did you ever get that thing running, then take on anything more challenging than the Patrick Henry mall? I've been on the outskirts for a while. And although I know PHM has some axle bending speed bumps and alignment crunching potholes, unless I missed the wheeling trip where you actually got to work that suspension, I just don't understand how you can say they have been great if all they have done is sit there with the occasional use on paved roads.

Give him a break Ben. They are solid, they only started to leak because they sat unused in his garage. If he actually used them and wheeled them, they wouldn't have leaked. And even though he probably has never rebuilt them (if he has I would toss them out), they have to be easy to rebuild, the Internet says so.

    Who are you again?
I bought kings for a reason. But for a budget build, these are a better option than Bilstein IMO. $100 is a fair deal, they aren't anything special but they work.

That's ironic considering I'm the only one who's ever ran FOA's on here...

I'm that truck. I always found trucks were easier to remember than names.

But going back to my point. Your truck had(or has) a lot of down time for a variety of different issues. I'm really curious if you've taken the truck off pavement to try them out, or if you are basing your assessment on street driving only. Also, how many miles did you put on them before they needed to be rebuilt?
