I would imagine there are way more than dozens. Most likely thousands. It will be interesting to see how many 2016's sold.

I sold my 2001 with 225,000 miles when I got the 2016. I have a 2008 as my "work" vehicle. The 2016 is far and away better than both. I've had no issues; Don't mind the shift-points; Love the ride; Great Vehicle. Could not be happier!!

Tacomas are good vehicles to flip every 4 years because of high resale value. I got 85% out of my 2009. No way a Ford or Chevy will bring the resale value that a Toyota does.

My point was Toyotas last and the other brands don't. I suppose that is a valid approach if you are into flipping vehicles.

If you're buying solely based on resale, get a Wrangler. Their resale is higher than Tacomas.

I feel very lucky to have gotten $3700 off on my Baja. I think availability was a little better than what the Pros will be. One thing I had going for me was it was the end of the month and dealer needed the sale. I won't pay MSRP for anything.

Yeah, but you have to subtract the cost to tow it to the dealer to trade in.

That's what road side assistance/AAA is for.

For now. Who knows if FCA will still exist in a couple years? Sergio was told "no thanks" by every single other automaker; what's next, is he going to put it up for sale on Ebay?

I think this whole thing about shift points come down to driving habits and environment
