Got any pics of the reverse lights on? I'm curious of the output of the stock light output to the LED pods. Thanks!

 

Stupid question. I have a few things laying around my garage that I'm wondering if they have any value if I try to sell them. Trying to "justify" buying Pro headlights and making as much back as I possibly can so it doesn't feel like such a big "hit".

I have the two rubber roof strips I took off when I installed my roof rack, the Toyota rubber mats that came with the rig, the factory tow hook that's under the front from when I got my Bullet Proof skid that came with a free hook, also the stock intake from when I got my AFE intake, and I that's all I can think of for now... Then I would obviously try to sell my headlights once I took them off, not sure how much they normally go for... And also my grille insert once I get my Pro grille of course!

 

Indeed! That would be just for the grille... those headlights are going for $400.00 shipped right now as well.

 

People buy the hooks all the time. As long as it is the hook and not the factory tie down point from the other side

 

I'll post some pics when I get home. I also have the stock boring mirror from when I replaced it with one of Bob's Mirrors. Little things like that, that I don't know if people look for or not, and not even sure if they're worth anything.

 

Just go to the Cali Raised led website and click on fabrication parts and they have them for sale and pictures like you want. It was just easy for me to make them so I didn't need to buy them

Nuno what's the difference between the stock headlights and pro headlights, are they a different color? Just asking because that seems really expensive if your just looking to change the color to smoked or black housing when aftermarket ones are selling for between 120-160. Or are they the ones with those angel eyes and stuff?

 

They're smoked basically. But they are OEM too which I think is part of the reason why they're so expensive. The aftermarket ones I've seen are too dark/smoked I think. Like the Pro look better. Don't really like the others I've seen either, and not too comfortable with trying to do the BHLM myself to get the smoked look. And not really into the retrofits and all that other funky stuff either. Kinda like the OEM look better to be honest. That's why I love the Pro grille a lot more as well instead of the Satoshi grille.

It's actually NOTW--the T is made to look like a cross. It stands for "Not of this world," based on bible verse theme of being not of this world (1 John 17:14-16, John 15:19). Meaning when die, we can go to heaven (or hell), which is an eternal home or destiny, thus portraying that the earth is not our permanent residence and we're just passing-through. After all, 100 in 100 people will die, the statistic doesn't lie.

And Pshh, it's only circumstantial that I am young, and a Christian. Stereotypical much?

I don't have any pictures, but the stock output of the reverse lights is very weak compared to the light pods, which are hella bright. Though output is determined directly to which pods you buy, I have the 20$ pods off Amazon and you can't even see the beam from the stock lights inside that of the light pod's.

 

I was more referring to volts/watts/amps of the stock wires, but that helps, too. I should've been more clear. I'm glad to hear the factory wiring can handle both because I plan to hook up the same pods to some quick-disconnects so I can put them on and take them off when needed.

Which wires did you tap into?

I absolutely love those tires on our trucks.

 

I just tapped the reverse light power and ground on each side. I installed LED bulbs in the stock housings to pair with the pods because LEDs draw like zip current. So no risk to blowing the fuse, I think the pods draw like 0.3 amps each or something like that. My 2$ voltmeter from harbor freight died so I can't test it. Lol

 

Why not just bhlm?
