    Too few to list.
So if we have a perfectly working pump and just want to prevent any issues further down the road, we should not have any issue or CEL with your kit?

What about the thermostat code after having the bypass kit installed for a while? Any resolution to that yet?

Yes, the new V50xxH kits that are now available for all the 08 and newer vehicles eliminate the temperature correlation problem that some vehicles had with the previous versions.

Installing one of the bypass kits as a preventative measure is fairly common and you should not ever have any issues with it!

Anyway to get the temp correlation fix added to an existing version of the bypass kit installed?

Unfortunately it is not that simple. You would need to upgrade to the latest V5x module. Contact us if you already purchased one of our units and want to upgrade.

Does the pump run at any other time, besides start up(stock)?

Is the kit plug and play for 2012 2.7l?
Are there pump replacement packs available for the above as well? I looked at the website but don't see that option, perhaps I missed it.

Edit:I see that it is indeed available. What do we need the scanner for?

Ok. Yeah, it was one of your units, that I connected to a URD MAF extension cable, about 3 months old.

The Plug and Play and Pump Packs are available as you have seen. We are very often asked about which scanners we recommend so we decided to carry some for our customers. We have found the ones we offer to be a good value and offer lots of diagnostic ability for their price. The scanners are for those that wish to have the tools to do their own diagnostic work or simply clear their codes when they are finished installing the kits. All orders that include a scanner currently receive Free USPS Priority Mail shipping on their whole order.

Do these pumps only run it start up or do they run at other times? And does your kit eliminate the pump running at all times. Thank you

As far as I am aware the system should only run on your first cold start (engine off for 7 hrs or longer). There were some vehicles we saw around the 08-10 years that may have had a experimental flash on them to run the pumps at shutdown as well when Toyota was trying to figure out to stop it from happening. I have only heard from 2 customers in 4 years that thought their system ran at shutdown and have never been able to confirm it anywhere in documentation from Toyota.
Currently the kits can only stop the system from running on that cold start and require the components to still be connected. Currently we only have a pump pack that would let you remove the air pump but everything else needs to stay connected. We will be working on another kit that will be able to handle anytime the pump tries to run as well as let you eliminate all the components of the system but it will be some time before we get there.

I just had a trucK in my shop for a supercharger install. It was a 2013 with a 2.7 kit and I noticed his pump turned on when the motor was shut off. Could it be a 2.7 thing

I've got a 2012 with 65,000 miles. I started getting the p2440 & p2442 codes with the CEL / Trac-Off lights and limp mode. I ordered the Hewtitt- Tech Plug and Play Bypass Kit, and installed it a week ago. Cleared the codes and everything went good for a week, now I'm getting the CEL / Trac-Off lights again with the codes P0101- Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem, P0172-System too Rich Bank 1 & P0175-System too Rich Bank 2.

Can anyone help me with this?

Call Hewitt tech and ask what his opinion is. I had a similar issue with his module where the truck threw a code for having a bad thermostat.

keep us updated on this. I have had all these problems you guys speak of and am planning on buying the kit if Toyota doesn't cover the fix. 2012 49,000 miles and awaiting to hear back from Toyota soon. Fingers crossed. I know few have had luck with them fixing.
