Yeah I've hit basically every trail I'm semi-confidant my non-locker 4x4 can make, well that and the ones that aren't too narrow. No need to scratch the new truck if I don't have to.

Don't really go for the mud. I'm running A/T tires so I'd probably just end up needing to get pulled out. :ballchain:

Brought lunch this past Saturday and did enjoy the reckless digging themselves in.

The shallower crossings are fun to splash thru!

Whoa, I had no idea there was that much water there...Looks like fun haha. I'll have to hit up Azusa sometime...never been myself. Maybe after Rowher this weekend we can look at going there

Then again I'm sitting at stock first gen height so maybe I should wait on the water crossing until I get a lift lol

    Yeah definitely!

It is no doubt cool to drive through water.

I think the initial crossing is about as deep as I need to go though.

I did the rear diff breather mod just because of my frequent trips to Azusa.

I've seen plenty of stock vehicles make it through no problem.

Vehicles that don't even seem like they should be driven off road. ie: New Ford Explorer, old stock Mazda B2200, Stock Chevy Trailblazer, Stock Chevy s10 Blazer. The list goes on.

I am not really a big splasher up there. I am nervous I will splash it into my intake and there goes the truck. I do hit puddles on the street though.... which I guess is the same thing.... dont judge me :anonymous: lol

The ECU will automatically shut the engine off if it detects any dangerous amount of water coming into the intake...where people get in trouble is when they just submerge the front end and it doesn't have a chance to kill the motor before the water gets in. I'm still too paranoid to risk it myself though as well, lol.

The first time I went through I was stock height. Now the only difference is I am about level all the way around. Just nice and steady the whole way through
Smart man doing the diff breather mod. Its super easy. Are you sure you are a 3rd gener?! lol
Hell I have seen a stock Subaru Forester , and a stock rav4 in there... idk if they were smart or stupid but either way they were there

Yeah I had a Scion that I put a CAI in, and when it rained heavily (downpour) it would pick up moisture and the car would shut off. Dealer told me it was designed to protect it when it sensed too much moisture, that's what I was told anyhow. That CAI didn't stay on my car too long

Yeah definitely slow and steady through the deep stuff.

I've got so many plans for this truck. I've always wanted a Tacoma. Just took me a while to actually buy one.

TW has been extremely helpful in what's and how-to's.
