Oven Baked Carmel French Toast

Ingredients
French Toast
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 TBS light corn syrup
1 cup optional chopped nuts
12-18 slices Italian, French or Cinamon Swirl bread
6 eggs
1.5 cups of milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1.5 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
Carmel Sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 TBS syrup

Add Cooking Step
Directions
1. Combine sugar, butter and syrup in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened
2. Pour into a 9x13 pan
3. Place 6-9 slices of bread and sprinkle with nuts if using
4. Top with remaining 6-9 slices of bread
5. Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a blender

6. Pour over bread and chill 8hrs
7. Bake uncovered 350 degrees 40-45 minutes
8. Drizzle with Carmel Sauce
9. SAUCE DIRECTIONS
10. Combine all ingredients and cook until thickened

I made Cheesecake Brownies last night Tonight, I'm making prime rib, mashed potatoes, and everything else.

 

I will definitely have to make that

 

What time? I get done work at noon.

 

Hopefully, I can maintain enough sobriety at lunch to not screw it up.

 

Work is finished at 1. Dinner is at 7:00. Mike is making seafood stew and I'm making everything else. We'll have plenty of food

 

the uni is like ten feet from your house......
