    Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
    ... ^^^ ... I always park in BFE ... and I try to always have a good field of view of the truck ... and I plan for an easy exit too.

    I used to always joke that I was looking for a spot with my name on it that had a decent entrance and had an easy exit.

    Ok so I just got my first Toyota. So far I'm loving it, and looking forward to doing some mods and upgrades. I do have the TRD off road. I wondered if someone has figured out how to get the navigation to always orient up, more like a garmin? I'm not seeing it in the settings am I just over looking it? Any help would be appreciated.

    There's a little symbol in the corner of the screen. Changes the nav style north up to direction of travel up

    Yes, the little "N" and compass icon in the upper left corner. Has three positions (options) iirc. Tap it to change the North up, to the direction of travel. Found this really annoying until I read the manual to find this.

    Found a way to disable the chirp sound when locking/unlocking the doors. Not a hack or key off/on wait a few seconds trick either.

    Its in the settings. And guess what I don;t recall the actual steps... BUT, the good news is it is possible.

    Had four chirps to unlock passenger door, now, silent. =]

    The dude at the dealer said I needed to swipe my finger on the door sensor to lock the door. You don't have to swipe it, just put your finger on it.

    I had this on my 15 T4R and loved it! The Runner though had it on both drivers and passenger doors (not rear doors). You could lock/unlock from either side...

    Anyone know if this would fit a 2016 access cab 6 ft bed? http://www.ebay.com/itm/222055595495 I think it does just want to confirm. and is there any specific brand of tonneau cover preferred? And tri-fold or roll up or another kind?

    Went to the car and looked...

    Procedure to turn of the door lock chirps:

    Apps -> Setup -> Next Screen (right arrow (at bottom)) ->
    Vehicle -> Vehicle Customization -> Door Lock Settings ->
    Scroll Down -> Lock/Unlock Feedback-Tone -> Off

    I had tri fold on my last truck but I'm going roll up on this one, don't like the fact I can't see my load with the trifold blocking the rear window when up

    So the roll up you would say? Is it able to be left a quarter way rolled or half or just all the way? And any specific brand?

    Truxedo low pro QT is what I have and have had in my last truck, last 10+ years in that one. I am very happy with it if your looking for a roll up. Autoanything.com has pretty good sales on the from time to time.
