Back story is Zack went to a black family reunion and now his ass is sore

 

So I got another gallon of antifreeze in today and went ahead and put it in. Only got a little over 1/2 the gallon in. So that makes a little less the 6L I've put in. Hanes book says it holds 8.7. What am I missing here? Good news is I let the truck idle for 20 mins or so and it's idling at 183 instead of 194 and no more leaky from the pump so we did something right. Turned the heat on and it got down to 177. I haven't drove yet to see how bad that is but I was running 236 on the interstate before so it can't be worse

 

If we can get that jigsaw from carter then let's do it Sunday or something. And still sore, never doing squats that way again. Went for a run today and my quads and ass starting cramping like halfway though, I probably looked like a fucking weirdo running through my neighborhood.

No clue. Never drained/flushed a system before. There was nothing in the radiator as we had it off. Opened up the block drain, closed it back, took out the thermostat, turned on the heat and ran the water hose through the bottom radiator hose and out the top hose. Then changed the water pump and reassembled everything. Either I don't know what I'm doing and don't know where 3L of water is kept or the book is wrong

 

Quite likely there was residual water/coolant in the block or heater core somewhere that may or may not add up to 3L. Could also be an air bubble. Drive it for a few days and keep an eye on it. If it's full and not getting hot, it's full and not getting hot. I replaced the radiator, pump, all the hoses, and thermostat on one of my old Jeeps once, and it took a gallon and a half less than what it called for. Sometimes the shit just likes to hide.
