Any leaf is going to be squeaky that gets used like yours. Unless the leafs are clapped out. I don't see the point of changing.

I hear that. Once I get around to it I'll either try the pond liner or zip tie method OZ-T posted. See if that helps

Noticed today one of my shackle zerks went missing. Oozing a little bit of grease. It's gone from the lower part on the outside. Will call wheelers when I get a chance.

Picked up a light box. Need to either drill new holes in the bumper or build a small bracket that works with the existing holes and the light. Mocked it up today.

Always looked at your build but never sub'd to it. Now i am though haha. I really like the camper on there. Looks sweet! Also really like the bottom of the body painted. Its not to tall and its not to short. Turned out really good!

Took off the camper to help a buddy landscape his yard. Hauled 4k lbs yesterday, took two trips of 2k lbs.

    Unloaded:

    Loaded:

Man, I loved the stance without any weight in the back. Safe to say the leafs are settled, and this is their final height.

Wow, she will be looking good. Do you think you can take photos of the inside of your camper when you get a chance?

We like to do a lot of camping around Utah and Colorado and are considering one. It seems pretty ideal, sleep at the trail head then head out early the next morning for some backpacking.

Apparently I've only got one on here- I'll try to upload some soon from my phone- but I really havent taken any detail photos of the sink/fridge/extra battery/ storage/ fuse panel/ bed & extended bed platform/ water storage & exterior spout/ or stove. The camper is bulletproof (not actually), but it's perfect for our needs!

@Andy97tacoma, Here's a quick pic of last weekend camping with my fiancee, bro and his gf. We were all scooted together on the couch for the pic, but played drinking games until late into the night on the table in the camper with plenty enough room. Need to get the gopro in there for some wide angle shots. It would be a great base camp for backpacking. I lived in Northern CO for 18 years & then Utah for 6 years- would have absolutely loved to have this setup while in either of those places! But for now, socal is where the job is.

Well, the time has come. Both driver and passenger cv boots are torn and flinging grease everywhere. I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend!

Should be getting the RAT 3 piece skid plates in within the next few weeks. Should help with new cv angles, I'm thinking.

Finally got around to replacing my cvs with remans last Saturday. That solved a lot of noise from the front- but I've still got a noise that's driving me crazy- and I'm looking into.

It happens at slow speeds when I turn: if I turn left, the body rolls to the right, and I hear the clunk. The same happens the other way, if I turn right, body rolls to the left clunking out of right. If I make several turns in the same direction, it only clunks the first time, not every time, like it's stuck on that side? Going to try all of the things I've read this weekend if I can get a chance to get the truck off the ground.

Things I want to go over: Sway bar links, lcas, ucas, shock mounts, ball joints, alignment cams, steering rack, & leaf spring bushings.

I've got to make sure every bolt I see is tight. Ended up putting on my RAT skids on last weekend, so I'm not stoked on taking those off to investigate and add gear oil for what I lost while changing my cvs.

Anyways, new skids and cvs are pretty cool.

Mine used to do the EXACT same thing. I don't know if it quit or I got used to it. Have someone turn your steering wheel left and right and you watch the upper and lower front shock mounts. I noticed my shocks (Icons) would twist a bit and hit the mounting flanges. Hard to describe...

I did the steering wheel trick with my buddy while parked and couldn't replicate it- also shook the truck by the ucas on both sides and couldn't get it to replicate. Thanks for the suggestion!

After further research and listening while driving, I think it's the front driver leaf spring bolt & bushing. It seems the leaf is sliding back and forth sideways in the bucket?

I've already got a new bolt/nut from the stealership, because I had to angle grind my stock one off- it was seized in the stock leaf. So I just threw in a random grade 8 bolt that has thread almost all the way up- so it chewed up the bushing (I think). I just haven't gotten around to switching to the correct one yet. The correct one has a nice smooth area before the thread starts, so I'm hoping this takes care of some of the squeaking I've got too- that's where it seems it's coming from.

Looking to try and finish my keezer build for our homebrews this weekend & take care of the leaf bolt next weekend.

We've got 3 homebrews in secondary- and going to start kegging next week!

Going to build & stain a pallet facade for it like this:
Instead of building a wood cover for the lid, I'm going to chalkboard paint it.

My knock is pretty much gone as of now- not sure what it was. But I did get in new Daystar greasable main eye bolts and bushings that I'll put on when I get a chance, hoping that takes care of some of the squeaks and the clunk.
