I feel the same about cardio. It's hell.

I've been jump roping before my workouts the past few weeks. Usually for ~5min or until I whack myself enough that I give up (giggity). I'll jump again post workout too if I still feel like I've got some energy to burn.

2 days a week I'll run treadmill sprints, usually after chest/Tri or shoulder day. So like you said, not after legs or back. Similar to what you did but shorter sprints. I read do 3:1 rest to active. So if I sprint 15sec I rest 45sec. I'll do 5rounds of that then bump up the speed and do 10sec(30rest) 5 rounds then bump up speed and do 5sec(15rest) 5 rounds. Takes like 8min and makes me want to fall on my face and just land wherever the treadmill launches me:bananadead:

For the next few months I'll be doing HIIT as follows : 3x a week for as long as I can make it. Walking set at 3.5 mph on 20 degree incline for 2 minutes then dropped incline to 10 degree and running at 7-8 mph for 1 to 1.5 minutes. I will be also be Weight training before my cardio sessions mostly upper body and arm strength but between sets drop to do 10 burpees.
On non training days I'll be doing cycling and elliptical for cardio and minor lifting as well in between sets I will be doing pull ups until failure. It's going to be interesting. I did the first round last night and it was brutal to say the least. My burpee technique is gonna be on point.

Found out one of my buddies from high school works out at the same gym tonight and did shoulders with him. Asked me what I do shrugs with and said I normally work to 225, so naturally he threw 315 on there and tossed me some straps. Super proud to say I got it 12 times. The straps really helped because I wasn't as focused on poor grip.

1/2 rice cake has natural peanut butter other two have 117g of cottage cheese split amongst them mixed with 32g casein peanut butter on caramel rice cakes. Mmmmmm gonna make some leg gainz in my sleep

Also got home and gave Abby a snack and she inhaled the damn thing. Had my fist crammed down her throat trying to get it out. I think it freaked her out more than anything. I don't get why some dogs don't chew shit.

Love doing HIIT for cardio. My go to is treadmill sprints. Walk at 3.5ish pace and tend to do my sprints at 9mph. First one or two sprints I start at maybe 7.5-8 to warm up. I don't necessarily keep track of the time so much but I watch my heart rate. Tends to be 30sec-1min sprint/ 1-2 minute walk. I do this for distance - usually until I hit a mile or two. Other cardio faves are hill sprints or stairs(outside) and the stairmill - can get a good sweat in, also it's great for the legs and boottyyy. ;)

I did post this a couple weeks back when I started in here but it's calf week so why not. Nothing compared to Newlife but hopefully one day I'll get there.

Looks pretty good to me, maybe a bit narrow. I think my feet are usually further apart

I think that's more of a personal preference thing. that stance feels the most natural for me.

I've always heard that narrower stance squats target the quads more and that foot position targets different parts of the quad. I've also heard a narrower stance puts more stress on the knees. I just do my narrow squats at a lighter weight

It's helps to point your toes outwards slightly when you have a more narrow stance. Forces your knees out
