I'm removing my upper ball joint and I can't press out the old one. Any ideas?

Remove the "C" clip at the yellow arrows. This will make it significantly easier to press out. Otherwise it will be a continuous source of embarrassment.;)

Yeah, I don't really know much..So it's all a learning process. But I removed the clip and the housing for the old ball joint. Pressed the new one in and going to finish it tonight!

Just fyi..... you can get them out with a hammer. Few good wacks and it pops out. I got too frustrated trying to get my press to line up. (Even though yours looks like it works alot better for our trucks)

If you have the pictures and time I say go for it. I did not find many ubj threads for our trucks when I went to do mine. I always fine other perspectives helpful just to know of any different potential roadblocks or any tricks some people have. I'm sure people would love to know about the tool you used. It would sure make it ALOT easier for our trucks, as the normal presses you can rent from auto parts stores normally do not have the supplied fittings for our trucks
