    Did you not get your mods covered through your insurance? I went to my agent with a list and receipts showing the work I had done so they bumped up my value to cover the difference.

    True but if something wasn't bent they would be long enough to work. Do they make longer tie rods that fit on a truck with a 6 in pro comp life's truck that I could use instead of replacing spindle and hoping it that's what's truly bent?

    Stick your fingers in the space between the tie rod part of the knuckle on both sides, if it's bent that much you would see it. It's not exact but it'll give you an idea. I didn't trim my tie rods to install my pro comp kit,I didn't even use the thinner jamb nuts they supplied. But mine is a VSC '14.

    Nope I did not. And honestly I worked for my step dad at Alstate insurance in high school and honestly didn't realize that was an option honestly

    U can see both tie rods are maxed inward and truck still is not alligned. They claim if they had 2 more turns of thread they could get the truck aligned perfect. Don't know what I should do. I don't want to spend a fortune and just need the truck to drive straight

    Where the tie rod bolts. It looks a different angle and bent in. Look at the space between the rotor and tie rod.

    Anyone else got any input on what my options are? Truck won't align and I can't tell what specifically is bent and if spindle is bent if there is a way to tell which spindles I have on my truck? I don't want to spend 550 bucks getting 2 brand new spindles if I don't have to. Are there longer threaded tie rods that fit 6 in lifted trucks that I could use?

    The PC spindle is practically bullet proof. I would look at the tie rod ends or links for damage.

    Well holy crap that was 3 pages of shit show, bad info & guesstimates :/

    1. No I don't have my old spindles, I sold the whole kit already.

    2. There is no way in hell the spindle itself is bent, those PC spindles are bullet proof and I don't see anything wrong in the photos at all.

    3. It is completely normal ( on a PC DB ) to have to trim a little off the end of the inner tie rod to be able to pull the toe in enough, particularly on the drivers side. Super simple to do, unscrew outer tie rod end, cut inner tie rod end a bit, back nut off to clean up the threads and then reinstall outer tie rod end...literally 5 mins of work.

    4. If you were side swiped and the wheel was hit I would make sure that they have checked the inner tie rod itself to ensure it is perfectly straight and check your steering rack very closely. Pull the boot off of the inner tie rod and see if there is any fluid visible inside the boot or dripping down the inner tie rod. If there is then your steering rack is toast and needs to be replaced.

    5. Yes, call your insurance company, it doesn't matter if you have after market products on the truck almost all policies have an aftermarket allowance and even if they don't they will pay you out for the value of OE parts which is very often much higher than aftermarket parts. When I had my accident after all repairs were complete the body shop cut me a check for $1000 because all of the OE parts estimated cost that much more than my aftermarket parts.

    There is no way in hell that the spindle would bend before the inner tie rod would bend. People bend inner tie rods all the time just from off-roading wheel impacts...even with OE spindles.
