My UnderCover SE bed cover came today via FedEx freight. We unloaded it and unboxed it to check for damage.

No damage and will install it this weekend ... it is a 6' bedcover and heavier than I though ... 2 people to install & remove.

Seriously!?! And you didn't get charged with leaving an unattended firearm in a vehicle?! At least tell me it had a trigger lock on it.
I may get booted for saying this but you left an unsecured firearm in an unlocked truck. Your an idiot!

Well I'll give you credit for admitting it. That's a 5 year felony up in my neck of the woods. I hope it doesn't find its way up north and some dick takes a shot at me or one of my fellow LEOs with it. Or God forbid kills or maims a kid or some other innocent.
    Iam out.

I have rub at full lock on factory mud flaps that will very shorty be taken care of with the heat gun I just bought. The road noise is only slightly more noticeable at Hwy speeds and the ride quality is great.

Man I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope it's recovered before doing any damage.

I see no need in carrying a handgun unless it's on your person the entire time. I understand sometimes there are places they are not permitted... I'd leave mine home that day... Or invest in a good console vault thats bolted down real well.

I'm pretty sure that model requires the base to be level. You might add a pool noodle under the part closest to the truck seat back.

Decided to black-out the badges and must say, very pleased how it turned out.

No worries. I'm a car seat geek and I've had that seat. Don't forget the middle is way safer statistically! :)

Waiting for Marlin! Just thought I'd pick up a couple of these before you can't find them anymore. They only made so many FJ Cruisers, and only so many of them are in junkyards, and I got them for a good price. It's good to be shop owner some days.

Yes but take them off now and you could still get $400 for the resale and get some real AT's for half the price.....

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
The irony here is that the guy is likely knew, and gets beat up on his first post. Odds of him becoming the contributing member that we so desire?
