@JLee Honestly the size of that center bar couldn't have fit that OEM emblem any better. It's like it was meant to be.

JLee, you've convinced me! Just placed an order (normal, no color matching). Hoping to get it before I get my new TRD OR 6SPD delivered in early August! I plan on possibly painting the edge of the grill and backing plate red! Going for the Red on black look. She's gonna be ANGRY!

Iam confused on what is coming, i see 2 diff center pieces. One has a larger Toyota than the other, how do i know which one iam getting? I never saw an option when ordering? Or did i miss something? Thanks they are both very good. I like the larger of the 2.

 

That customer ordered no letters cut into the grille and he added his own emblem.

 

So mine will look like the black truck?

 

Can anyone else see the confusion when someone is posting a grill they modified?

 

My understanding is that a standard order will look like my black Tacoma. Looks like other customer created a custom grill where the horizontal center bar is completely flat and they added their own emblem.

 

You get the same grill that's pictured on BAMF site. Unless you pick a back color plate.

 

Yes, i hope so, i like it the best, so when you order a color, it will slide behind the cut out letters. Correct? But you do have the option to leave it the way you did, which really looks badass!! Well done Jerry

Someone hasn't been following this thread. Most all the answers are in here buddy.

 

If you ordered standard all black it'll look like the pictures that have been posted. Also in the original post without the custom wrapped black plate.

In the time you took to post this, you could've helped answer his questions. That's what these forums are for, to get help and info.

I wonder how long before a similar one starts showing up on future TRD Pro models.
