So I've been thinking. Should I go 14" kings like @SGTCap is or should I go 16" kings....which will go through the bed. I'm still doing my research but if I go 14" kings I'll just get @EddyRRT shock hoop

I thought I've seen some with ~3" of lift get 16" shocks. Sounds like 14" shocks it is then.

 

i mean you could run them but with 3" lift would be no need to . 14" might be to much too but will work if set up right

 

I'm a firm believer of keeping my tires on the ground haha.

 

14"s and 16" have the same extened lenght

 

14" it is then. This will be my winter project so I can still have fun in the summer and fall.

 

Those will probably be my next axles. You have to send them back factory cores, no Napa or other axles.

probably a good idea to have on hand, are our axles right and left specific? or same one for both sides?

 

I have done some searches on here and some other places about the CVJ's. A few of the ones I have come across have said that they did not receive factory axle shafts from them. The shafts were a different diameter and I believe the splines were different as well.

I have called them and spoke to a lady who wasn't all that helpful (maybe she was having a bad day). I thought about getting a set of those off road boots they have. The ones pictured on their website. I have seen those same boots somewhere else for a lot cheaper. The problem I have with those boots is that they are not lobed like the factory ones are. You need to cut the lobed end off a factory boot and insert it into the other one and clamp them both down. I didn't like the idea of that, so I did the boot slide and used hose clamps instead with factory boots.

I would like to eventually have a set of axles, and also front hubs on hand, bound to need replaced at some point
