How does he use the trunk?

 

So last night I go over to the GFs house.
I finish spray painting the used fridge I got her, and we clear out room in the garage and move it in there. We then have something to eat and have a few beers (Ranger Creek Fresh Hopped Berlinner Weisse, Crooked Line Rauchbier) and watch some DS9 episodes.
I am staring to fade in the 3rd episode, and the phone rings, its Andrew. Fuck him. It rings again, its Andrew I pick it up.
"I just wrecked David's Audi, come pick me up. I am at the 18th/Hempstead exit on 610"

I head on over. Traffic on 610 where it crosses 10 because of construction. And then I notice that Andrew finally has his name in lights. "Car stalled on 18th street exit". Yeah, its stalled all right.
Flashing lights, stopped cars backing up the exit. The cop tells me to pull over and wait. About 5-10 minutes later things clear up. I follow into the lot of Demeris BBQ where things are getting done by the book. Wrecker gives us info, we strip the car of possessions and the cop gives Andrew the incident report. The cop was chewing out the wrecker driver for hooking him up and moving him.

Andrew was taking the exit when he lost the back end. He corrected a few times then ran out of road. At that point the Audi (1st gen TT) took over. It automatically turned on the blinkers, tightened up the seat belts and the airbags deployed. Andrew told me to check the rears, there was tread on the outside, but the insides were smoother then a set of softs after 30 laps from Kimi Raikkonen.

The car is totaled. Dual airbag deployments and front right end from the collision.
