What did you do to your truck to cause you to claim on your insurance?

 

Damn packrats did another number on my engine bay. Headlight wires, knock sensors, and numerous wire harnesses were chewed through. I've had exterminators out here 3 times, I've set poison and bait traps all around the house and in the garage, and I've done every farmers trick to repell them from the engine bay. Nothing is working and parking in the garage isn't an option till I move to Hawaii. Too many boxes are filling the garage.

 

You've probably tried this, but it worked on my pack rat war - they don't like light, so I put some fluorescent lights on the ground beneath an RV that I owned after they chewed through a fuel line (no kidding). It worked pretty well.

 

I did it, no luck. Still found rat droppings and lawn clippings in the bay.

They've only gotten into my Tacoma once, but it was bad! I tried everything else...pepper spray and powder, moth balls, removing all of their dens, etc...good luck!

 

So, I bought these at asking price of $300. I just opened the box today to test fit. Not a fan of the color. I am going to buy new ones with ... FLOURESCENT GREEN piping!!!!
