You'll have to post up a DIY thread on wiring the lights to the dome lights, that sounds pretty cool! Nice work

Well... I busted my 2nd Gen Tacoma on a recent trip to Utah's West Desert. I have no idea when this happened - I'm actually curious if this could be related to the springs recall? I do remember hitting a whoop-de-whoop just right (it was overcast and difficult to read the road, and I was traveling a bit fast) and bottomed out. I'm assuming the bottoming out is the springs issue (my replacements are on order at the dealer), but I tore the trailer harness away from the face plate. Do you think I can convince the dealer this is related, and that they should replace it for me?

Lubed my shafts to try and get rid of a clunk and topped off my transmission fluid.

They'll make you eat it. And those plugs aren't cheap. I just had mine replaced due to a rear-end accident and it was almost $300.

lol, there's an interest in everything around here. If it's a universal thing it could go over really well. If it's just specific for tacoma's I'm sure there will be interest but widening it to other Toyota vehicles would do better I think.

    Stock. For now.
go to autozone or oriely. spend the 10$ on a new 7 pin connector. and install it into your bumper. you'll never have that problem again. I just did that after ripping mine off. i actually removed the left licence plate light and installed it in that hole.

You sir beat me to it... That is an A+ easy mod. I put mine where the left side license plate light was and have not looked back!

Got my struts painted to install my OME kit tomorrow- question.. in regards to alignment does a 1 year warranty vs a 90 day warranty matter? Cost is $89 vs $69.

Yup that's a mod I was planning to do. Just wanted to see if I could get the dealer to fix this instead, LOL.

should not matter, unless you wheel a lot or are planning on changing tires soon. I buy lifetime alignments for all of our cars and get my alignment checked at least twice a year.
