So I'm installing my 3 leaf aal and the damn truck shifted so the leaves are sitting off the spring perch. We can't get the axle/body back where it needs to be. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Like asap

Post some pics so we know exactly what you're working with!!!!

Ratchet straps are a redneck mechanics best friend!!!

EDIT: Just make sure not to over tighten ratchet straps. The cheaper ones are made of thin metal that can AND WILL bend to allow the whole thing to break free.
Ask me how I know

Lower the axle or raise the truck then move it into position. Gonna need to get that jack stand out of there.

Leave axle where it is, Jack up truck, slide axle. This is an easy fix.

Yeah. GENTLY ratchet the springs toward the drum face.
Or pull the whole axle the other way.
Not sure what your surroundings look like. I've used trees, scrap metal bins, another truck...
All with ratchet straps to line up the center pin on the spring perch.

If you are trying to get it back on the perches, jack the truck up til the center pin clears the perch, push the axle/pull the spring into place, lower truck while making sure center pin goes on the hole in the perch.

The problem is is that none of our Jacks are high enough to get the truck itself where we need it. I was using a high lift off the receiver hitch but that is how it fell in the first place. I'm at walmart right now and I'm gonna get a floor jack that goes to 20 inches

i used jack stands to hold the truck up by the frame and used the hydraulic jack to raise and lower the axle

I got it, I just needed a real floor jack instead of a stupid flippin high lift on the receiver hitch. We ended up jacking up the axle just enough to pull the stands out and then we were able to lower the axle with a smaller floor jack. It was going pretty good from there until i stripped out a centering pin because icon decided to spray everything with 2 inches thick of black paint. So once I get a new pin I should be able to get everything done tomorrow. And no, I'm in Cody.

Are you sure the bolt isn't just spinning with the nut?

Nope, I ended up trying to muscle the nut on because every nut that was included was super tight. The threads on the pin are ruined.
