Lol. Not a serious inquiry. By the time I drove/flew down there and back I could pay to have the lower sill on mine professionally repaired 3 or 4 times, haha!

I used to live south of Castle Rock, there are a lot of wrecked airplanes in the hills in that part of Colorado. They were really neat to hike to and look at.

It's supposed to burn for quite a few more years isn't it? I love abandoned stuff like this. Sucks someone always wants it torn down.

Amazing what land rights can do isn't it?

We used to have a bunch of cotton mills here. Huge history with them here. They have mysteriously all caught on fire and burned to the ground or been converted to riverside lofts. o_O

Or become parking lots for the medical area.

I've been walking around in the woods hunting game and searching for lost people since the 1970's. I've found lots of stuff. At 14 I walked up on some guys in the process of stripping a Mustang right at sunup while hunting. I'd have set a new Olympic record for the 2 mile run while carrying a shotgun getting home. At 17 I found an unoccupied moonshine still. I've found human bodies or at least remains several times and a couple of them while still alive. In June while on a search for a missing person I found a stolen 2013 John Deere tractor worth $30,000 hidden in the woods.

Tornadoes are common during the spring in the south. Twice within the last 20 years bad ones have touched down about 50-70 miles to the west and the storms continued over my area. During turkey season after both of those events the woods were littered with paper and construction material. In 1996 I found a guys W-2 forms and mailed them back to him. The address was 70 miles away. In 2010 I found the remains of a metal storage building. The closest tornado touchdown was 50 miles to the west and huge parts of the building traveled that far before coming down. This is just one piece I found within about a 1/2 mile radius.

almost looks like an aircraft part... I found some old pans recently, I thought about taking them home and hanging them up and an old gear off of somekind of logging machinery most likely. I still may go get the pans and gear.

The abandoned coal mine reminds me of war pics or Chernobyl

Howdy....lived in New Mexico in 1970-1980s had a buddy Mark with an 1981 4WD bias ply meats n waren 1/2 ton winch. Mark would show me weird stuff in the middle of nowhere. Military bunker in middle of western nm. It was a half shell with dirt on top concrete face (weapons bunker style.) Enter its a chemical wet lab with long floor drains. Found high voltage coax cabling running away from bunker. In back was a security cage with handcuffs mounted to the wall....yikes if someone went south confine em! Weird stuff. .more later:)
My latest ride...1998 dx 2wd all original with 409k mi:)
