Those are for the OEM Tonneau cover guide. The guide centers the tonneau cover over the bed.

Dipped all my emblems... Grille will be next. Really digging the honey comb dip so that will be the direction I'll be going for that project.

Yes its a gar. Not an alligator gar though, so its fair game in this state.... And LOADS of fun.

Lots of people just kill them and throw them on the bank so they dont decimate the sport fish... Im not big on killing something i dont eat. I do eat them. Mostly just the back strap, but i dont just kill them for sport. Even though i do enjoy the sport of killing them :D

Gotta respect that. I have a huge dislike for fishermen that are goons.. We have rules and regulations for a reason.

I'll keep the long story short. Your speed on the hwy commute is what kills your mileage. Trucks all get terrible mileage above the 70 range.

The oil catch can is bc I'm relatively OCD about pampering my engine. I plan to keep this truck for a long time. It simply filters out the oil and fuel that the PCV valve normally mixes together and puts back into the intake manifold. So it keeps the the upper engine insides from getting dirty, no damage either way. Plenty on the process via YouTube.

    Install was pretty easy.

Glad to see I'm not the only guy in America that had a Raptor that went to a 16 Tacoma. I have similar feelings but I mostly run kids around and never came close to using the Raptor like it could be used. A friend of mine at the Ford (take this with a grain of salt) dealership mentioned that he was hearing Ford was having lots of issues with the new 10 speed tranny on the new Raptor, it will take all the manufacturers a while to get these tranny's figured out. I'm currently happy with my new Tacoma. In all honesty I love my wife's 4Runner more but I need to have a pickup.

He never took the badges off. He used plastidip to coat them while still on the truck.

The fronts on some of those 4 runners are simply badass. I keep trying to tell my wife that should be her next vehicle :D

Then maybe I'll let her borrow my truck occasionally... Just so i can drive the 4runner around. As it is she has an impala and i hate even riding in it... But it's paid off and definitely faster than my truck... Still it's too low to the ground and i just don't care for the look of it.

I know many of you have had issues with service departments across the country, but my experience this week was particularly astounding. I'm having the hood vibration problem on my limited, in addition to water in one of my license plate light housings, a noise coming from the rear of my truck, and suspected I was also low on atf.
Got my truck back today, after they had had it since Tuesday morning. My truck was 3/4 of a quart low on tranny fluid, and the spare tire was loose and rubbing on the underside of the truck causing noise. My vehicle is probably boring to everyone on this forum since its stock other than some OEM accessories, but suffice it to say I have never used or removed the spare so it was loose from the factory. Replacement parts for the license plate light are on some kind of back order so no solution there even though they've been aware of it for 3 weeks.
Now, if it sounds like all that should have taken a matter of hours to do not days, you're right. The rest had to do with the hood. However, amazingly, they had it for two and a half days only to have a "body shop" put double sided tape between the hood frame and skin, which obviously did absolutely nothing to resolve the vibration. I ended up without a truck for a large part of this week only to end up with the same problem I had before and no improvement.
Looks like I have a long battle ahead of me to get them to make my hood right, and at this point I have no idea what it'll take or how much of my time they will waste in the process.
