Harness worked out perfectly and it's the entune non-nav non-jbl system.

Nice! I'm glad it's all working well. Definitely not an easy install.

For anyone that's interested in what all this costs:

    All in - $959.73*
    AudioControl ACR-1 Bass Knob $ 27.46
    AudioControl LC2i Line Out Converter $ 66.95
AudioPipe Power Distribution Block $ 13.30
Image Dynamics 6.5" Component Speaker System $ 213.63
    Image Dynamics MQ150.2 Amplifier $ 272.49
    Metra 70-1761 Speaker Connector $ 4.79
    Metra 72-8104 Speaker Connector $ 5.10
    Metra 81-4300 Speaker Baffle $ 20.62

    Misc Wire Connectors $ 25.00
PIXNOR Speaker Box Terminals $ 7.99
    Scosche 4awg Spade Terminals $ 9.99
    Scosche 6.5" Speaker Adapter $ 15.99
    Scosche Speaker Connector $ 7.61
    SoundBox Wiring Kit $ 27.11
    Stinger Speedwire $ 18.00
    Supercrewsound Custom Box $ 177.00
    Toyota 6.5" Speaker Adapter $ 6.70
    ThunderBox Repairs $ 40.00

*I started this install with one of the amps and the subwoofer already in my possession. I did however have to order a new subwoofer box so keep that in mind. Items highlighted in red ($92.42) were wasted dollars for ordering incorrect parts or the refurbishment of the ThunderBox which i'm not going to use in the end, but hey, it was a learning experience.

Considering La Jolla Audio quoted me $606 in labor to install my pre-existing amp and sub and nothing else (which I would've had to have bought a new sub enclosure anyways...) I actually think this came out to be a smokin' deal for what I got by doing all the work myself. Plus I learned a lot!

Most parts were ordered through Amazon Prime.

    It's this one:

This is just a picture off their website. Mine should arrive sometime mid next week. And before I get shit, I understand this isn't a Mr Marv quality box but when you're fed up sometimes you get a little online shopping happy. I did do some research and overall it gets pretty good reviews so I'll see how it goes...

That's a really clean and stealth box man! Is it down firing?

Yes it is. The sub sits facing down right behind the center console and the rest of the box is sealed toward the rear of the cab.

That's nice. I'm excited for you brotha. Did you mount all your gear under your seats?

Ya, I could benefit from making some wire protectors so if people sit back there their feet won't crunch the connections. Right now the floor mats cover everything so at least it looks nice but there are some vulnerabilities.

    Shocks. Pegs. Lucky.
I wound up building a little step out of 3/4 inch MDF that covers the back of the amp and terminals. It's pretty robust and could take lots of kicking although I rarely haul passengers in the back. Never mind the cheesy carpet tubing I made to hide the sub wire. It'll get re-routed when I finish deadening.

Yeah my 4 channel amp is under the drivers seat and sits further back than I want it to. I think I'm going to remove the vent and move it forward.

My audio build in a couple of weeks. Both amps and sub going behind my rear seats. Much better back their. Out of the way.

Agreed but I only had room for one amp back there because I'm running two subs.

Yeah I know what you mean. For me 1 10inch sub is plenty with a amp board for the amps and crossovers.

Yes I have been having installs done for a long time. All of my Tacoma's have had audio installs done. I have a friend that owns a stereo business. He has done all my installs. I'm hoping this one is going to sound just like the one I have in my corvette. I blew my installer away on my system in the Vette when it was done. Those guys could not believe the sound.

Looks good, Question did you keep your factory headunit or go with aftermarket?
