If the UCA is an issue, I'm pretty sure you would rub the coil just as easy

    Just a guess.

Are you using the tc ucas in conjunction with the spidertrax?

the 285s only rubbed my stock uca's at full lock. I went ahead and got the spidertrax spacers anyways. gives it a better stance too

    bump

I called up toytec today and talked to this lady. She said that the recommended size for those UCAs are 285s and she said she thought i'd be fine. She also said that the manager is running this same set up and is fine, but I might need to get the cab mount chop, which is fine cause I planned on getting it anyway  But the question still remains...

You should be fine. They give more clearance than the OEM arms.

I've got the LR UCAs with aftermarket rims (4.5" bs). I've got about 1 1/2" - 2" of space between the tire (285) and the UCA. I'll post a pic when I get home.

Stock rims would be about another inch closer.

It appears that clearance will not be an issue w/ the 285's, however now I'm a little worried about rim width. The stock rims are 7" I believe, and it appears most 285's need at minimum 7.5"
