what UCAs are those? I've never seen them before.

 

JBA offoad. He's been making UCAs for Jeeps for a long time and I guess from what I've read he's been trying to break into other markets. His early Toyota UCAs had some issues but the latest version is getting awesome reviews so I thought I'd take the chance. What I really love about them is the 1/2 ton Chevy ball joint. About $20 to replace at my local auto parts store and even cheaper from Rockauto and because they are made for a 1/2 Chevy and was the same ball joint used on the Humvee I think they'll last a long time. From what I understand all the other major UCA players used Jeep ball joints in their arms.

My brother is stationed up there. He is having surgery done on his foot, so I am driving up with my mother for the surgery and then we have to wait 2 days for him to get released. Then we drive him back here for 30 days.

 

Oh man, well he will be in my thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery from that. Guess that's better than going up there for work haha.

 

Yeah, not sure what there is to do up there, but it will mainly be just hanging out for 3 days in the hotel.

 

Yeah I'm just hoping there are good places to eat around.

Haha I would give anything to have that life again. I just had to make a life decision to pull the trigger on $99 wheel spacers, $29 jack, and $45 tweeters to install this weekend. I calculated at the rate I'm going, my 4Runner will be done about June of 2046! Scotty, I'm super jelly of your recent purchases tho, glad to watch someone spend money on their rigs. Congrats again buddy!

 

thanks bud! I'm enjoying it while I can. Budgeting to buy a house next year and who knows when a lady will come into the picture (if ever). So buying all I want to now.

Yea that house purchase is fickle bitch! I'm about to purchase a "ring" in the next month or so, so my 4Runner purchases are fixing to come to an abrupt halt until all the wedding and crap is over and done with, haha!

HAHAHA!!! Well considering we went "ring shopping" last weekend and she picked out the ones she liked, I'm feeling pretty confident! But you never know...house purchases aren't the only things that can be fickle bitches!
