    Eddy runs 63s right?

Lets do the maths Ace. Your current leaf pack with the rear retaining clips removed is the important measurement.
For example: my Deavers will stop drooping out at 12" with the flip, longer shackle and rear leaf pack retaining clip removed.
As you know I run 12s and due to not using the shocks as the limiting factor, I use the leafs, put the clips back in and it stops at 11.5.

So, if you go to 14s, add the flip and longer shackles you will most likely encounter the same restrictions in the leaf pack.

So, whats the point of spending that money? So lets say you sell the leafs and 12s and start cover and add another Grand in parts and labor to jump to 14s, 63s and gain 1.5-2" of droop at most.

Is that worth it to you?

Lets say you scrapped that idea and now went SUA added 16s and a bed cage and now have 18" of droop and added bump, but now spent 2k to gain up to 6" more.

But as the rabbit hole goes, now the front is far surpassed by the rear and its time for extended uppers and lowers.

Slippery slope Ace. Gets us all.

I say fix what you have and add the flips and shackles and be done with it. Use that cash to get some lowers and make other improvements like gears and expo stuffs.

I dont do this a lot. Just for Ace here. I was in his shoes once and had a close friend keep me in check for the most part.

Just makes no sense to start over. I had to make this exact decision when I had a pair of 14s sitting on my floor. To start over and dump another 1500+ on new leafs and a SUA kit was just too much for me when I already had a great setup that wasnt being completely used.

I do the same thing. I seem fickle and indecisive but im just trying to look at all my options and whats best for me and the budget.

I also love BJs from the wife. If i spend a lot of monies, i dont get BJs.

From my previous experience delrin doesn't make much noise. Just transfers feedback 100x better.

Total chaos is nice for secondaries though

They are both very similar products and definitely solid. The DK offers a price that is more attractive where the TC has the secondary and its made from Chromolly. TC engineered extra clearance and weight savings over the OEM ones. With TC you've definitely seen the product evolve. In looking at the new +2 & +3.5 race kits that is obvious. The kits are ran on trucks in the Dakar and TC is definitely getting there name into racing. But they've got a few years on DK and have a good grasp on the market.
We can all be fanboys and girls, both are great products.

Im nearing a refresh of my lowers and maybe my uppers if i have the cash. I was told to stay away from delrin for my application and I will respect the advice given to me. The poly hasnt given me any issues and ill keep running it on the lowers.

I'm no fanboy. I think both products are great and would run either of them, don't think anyone can go wrong buying either set. But I'm not going to do lowers cause I'm already planning out SAS for myself, ha.
