You may need the Navi Antenna but I also do provide one.

I don't have pictures of it in a truck, I do have pictures of the piece when it was trimmed.

 

Awesome I'll pick one up soon, I just want to make sure it looks like it came from factory that way.

 

I bought a 2014 Entune Nav unit when they 'were available' from FLTrucks and installed it in a 2012. After acquiring the necessary adapters back then, it works flawlessly.

He knows his stuff and is the real deal!

 

im just asking bc im not familiar with stereos haha i got the sr but would love some of the sport fetures like nav but want it to look factory but i guess tht probably depends on the installer

 

I, the same as you, wanted the factory look. I am no installer by any stretch of the imagination, so having a plug and play unit was essential to my goals. My install was a 2014 into a 2012, so I needed a 24/28 pin adapter and two others (cheap), all else was the same.

Since this is a 2016 into a 2016, you won't need adapters, and Bob's your uncle. Trimming your bezel should be a breeze.

 

So here are a few pictures I was able to take of them in the building process of the bezel ring.

does any one sell the bezel for this unit? so it looks OEM?

 

The only place I found them was the dealer and they want 200 for the correct one.

 

$200??? Dam how about aftermarket head units? Same issue???

 

I've been looking for aftermarket ones haven't found any.

I have Entune with SiruisXM and shark fin antenna. If I got your OEM Nav unit, could I plug & play with changing the antenna?

Later, I can upgrade the speakers. Lost this thread for a while .... Thanks

Yes it is a plug and play with the connections. All connections will plug in and unit will work and function as your current unit except it's now with navigation. Only issue will be a fitment issue but could be fixed by trimming the center bezel.

Shouldn't this be a direct fit with 3rd gen? My TRD sport come with an exact one like that. Not sure what to trim?

 

Depends on what Entune you have. The Entune Premium has larger dimensions than the Entune Plus, with corresponding larger cut bezel.
