When we did the same thing with the BAMF sliders the shipping on one pallet was only about $50 cheaper per person than what I paid but I also worked out a little discount with Jerry as well.

 

He needs an Asian accountant.

 

We got a little break doing it that way, it's just expensive to ship large, heavy items across the country! We also got the Black Friday deal so that definitely helped the cause as well.

 

And you have to ask why you got charged extra...

 

Mike how's the wiring going on the DR? Still working on it, or you get it running?

 

It's been running from Day 1, it was just the signals and horn that I couldn't get working. Right now, I think it would actually pass inspection. Turns out, the previous owner just removed the signal relay.... I guess he decided that just wasn't necessary. I found the dead ended wires, popped in a new relay and boom, I had signals. The horn was just shot, so I replaced that and now I'm all set. I even drove it into work a few weeks back. She's running strong, my only issue is hot starts. When it's hot and I stop quick for say fuel, I have a hard time getting it running again. If it sits for 20 minutes or so, it starts right back up.

 

Well I have been fighting with Holiday Inn now for well over a week. Seems that they charged when I booked my room and then they charged me again when I stayed there. I contacted the hotel 1st and they didn't respond for 2 days and finally answered when I called back but still nothing got done. Now I have contacted their corporate office and they told me that I need to wait 48 hours for the location to respond. I wrote back to them and told them I was already in contact with the location and nothing has been done. They responded saying that I need to wait for 20 hours for the 48 to be over. Man that went up my ass sideways!

 

Go to your credit card company and stop the payment. They usually get shit like that straightened out pretty quick.

 

You think it's boiling the fuel in the carb, or does it have a stuck float that's flooding it?
